Microsoft Fairwater AI Data Center Launches Ahead of Schedule, Computing Power Sets New Records
Microsoft CEO Nadella announced that the $3.3 billion Fairwater AI Data Center has been put into use ahead of schedule. The center, located in Wisconsin, USA, covers an area of about 127.6 hectares and has a construction area of 111,000 square meters, consisting of three buildings, aiming to provide computing power support for global AI development. Approximately 75 kilometers of deep foundation piles and 12,000 tons of structural steel were used during construction.
